TALK OVERVIEW:
Talk Title: Education in Place: An Appraisal of Education in the United States Today and a Consideration of a Path Forward
Speaker: Dr. Mark Tarpley
Talk Description: A hallmark of education in the United States over the past century has been reform.  This perpetual call for educational reform implies both a dissatisfaction with how we educate our children and a belief that progress in education requires constant change.  The result is an unstable educational experience for the children of our culture.  Certainly, the answer to our educational crisis cannot be yet another call for reform! Join Dr. Mark Tarpley as he explores this question in light of the Christian tradition as it relates to education.
